Are you stuck in a cycle of conflict with your partner? Finding yourselves having the same arguments over and over, unable to break free from patterns that leave you both feeling hurt and frustrated?
Do you feel misunderstood? Does it seem like no matter how hard you try to express yourself, your partner just doesn't get it or you can't understand them?
I help couples improve communication, heal past wounds, and reconnect with each other in a safe and empathetic environment.
Many of the couples I work with come to therapy feeling distant, angry, or stuck in repetitive negative cycles. Often, they’ve been navigating disconnection for years without resolution. Through evidence-based modalities, I help guide couples through conversations that may be a struggle to have on their own and work together to:
- Identify and break free from negative cycles
- Rebuild emotional connection
- Develop new ways to communicate that foster understanding
- Learn to recognize and respond to each other's deeper needs
Research shows that nearly 90% of couples in distress show significant improvement using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I have seen significant results with my clients and have helped partners repair emotional bonds, heal from past and present relational wounds, and re-establish a sense of safety and connection. EFT is particularly effective in addressing infidelity and breaches of trust, emotional disconnection and ongoing conflict and communication struggles.
I studied EFT with Sue Johnson, Developer and Founder of Emotionally Focused Therapy, and completed a two-year postgraduate program in couples therapy through the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey, further deepening my expertise in helping couples heal and reconnect.
