I have many years experience providing individual and couples therapy.
I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. US News and World Report has consistently ranked Fordham Univeristy's School of Social Work as one of the top programs in the country. I later completed a three year post graduate program at CPPNJ, Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of NJ. I also trained at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have extensive training in couples therapy, including completion of both a post graduate externship with the International Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy or EFT. Extensive research has shown EFTto be highly effective in treating couples. I have also completed numerous other trainings..
I have taught as an adjunct professor at Fordham University, teaching therapists in training.
Additionally, I am a certified supervisor for other therapists and teach other therapists counseling and psychotherapy theory and technique.
